Ambrose Trail
Trailhead location: ///today.vegetarian.differently
The Ambrose Trail starts near the handicapped parking space in the Mount Helena Trailhead above Reeder’s Village. The first .5 mile (.8k) or so is weathered granite and moderately accessible. The accessible portion ends at a nice hillock that overlooks the Helena Valley. Ambrose ends where it intersects Old Chevy Trail. The accessible portion of Ambrose sees heavy traffic on summer evenings. Bikes are strongly discouraged from using the accessible section of the Ambrose. Abundant wildflowers May-July.

From east to west, the Ambrose trail intersects the 1906 Trail, Daisy Hill, Quarry, Swaney, and Road To Mars trails before terminating at about 1.77 miles (2.84k) where it intersects and terminates with Old Chevy Trail.
