Surface: level, modest incline pathway. Recently graded with a good, firm surface of crusher fines.
Distance: .4 mile (.64km). This a one-way measurement
Rise: 85 feet.
Services: Accessible vault toilets, paved parking area for vehicle with handicapped permits.
Trailhead info: Large parking area, sometimes quite busy.
Be aware: Can be icy in the winter and can be a bit soft in the spring.
Maintenance: Not maintained in the winter.
Best months for use: May – October (or later depending upon snowfall)

Lots of birds during the spring migration. Butterflies are very common through the summer and into fall.
