Rise: Negligible rise.
Services: Usually none, occasional porta-potties
Trailhead info: Good parking with several handicapped spaces. City often closes and locks the gate to keep high school students from parking there all day.
Be aware: Can be icy in the winter and can be muddy in the spring. Often used for High School athletic events in the evenings and weekends. Recent maintenance has made this trail quite nice (August 2024).
Maintenance: Spotty. Is sometimes plowed in the winter.
Best months for use: May – October (or later depending upon snowfall)
