Tenmile and Spring Meadow Trail Complex

This trail system offers about 4 miles of flat, very accessible, pathways. The Tenmile Creek Park offers about 3 miles of weathered granite trails that afford lovely views of the surrounding hills, a nice long stroll near the Tenmile Creek.

A short connector trail between the Tenmile and Spring Meadow crosses private property, but it is part of the trail system. That being said, please stay on the trail. This little section of trail offers decent birding opportunities in the spring and summer. With the pond on the west side of the trail, the Tennile creek to the north, and tall grass and shrubs to the east, this area often has several species of sparrow, woodpeckers, Bullock’s Orioles, waterfowl, and warblers.

Spring Meadow Lake State Park has a nature trail encircles the lake. The trail is about 0.9 miles (1.4 k) and has three vault toilets placed at good intervals. A fishing platform and several picnic tables round the the experience.
